Sleep habits on a GLP-1: the habit that makes the others easier
By the Everlon founding team · · How we write and review health content
Good sleep habits on a GLP-1 plan are the same ones that help anyone: a steady schedule, a comfortable room and an easy evening. Better sleep won't do everything, but it makes everything else easier to keep up.
Habits that help
The CDC lists these habits that can improve your sleep:
- Go to bed and get up at the same time every day.
- Keep your bedroom quiet, relaxing and at a cool temperature.
- Avoid large meals and alcohol before bedtime.
- Avoid caffeine in the afternoon or evening.
Two more that many people find easy to keep:
- Wind down on purpose. Dim the lights and put the phone away a little before bed.
- Get some daylight in the morning. A few minutes outside is a calm start to the day.
Start with just one
Pick the easiest habit on the list, keep it for a week, then add the next. Small changes that stick beat big changes that don't.
Try this tonight: set one wake-up time for the whole week.
If you snore loudly, wake up gasping, or feel exhausted no matter how long you sleep, talk to your doctor.
You've got the basics
Strength, protein and sleep work as a team. Keep the habits that felt easiest, and build from there with the 7-day starter plan.

Compounded medications are prepared by a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy and are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed.
