By the Everlon founding team · · How we write and review health content
A simple high-protein dinner for a GLP-1 plan can come off one pan. Pick salmon or chicken, add vegetables, and let the oven do the work.
Sheet-pan salmon or chicken
You'll need
- Salmon fillets or chicken breasts
- Vegetables that roast well: broccoli, peppers, green beans or sweet potato
- Olive oil, salt and pepper
- A lemon, garlic or your favourite spice
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425°F and line a sheet pan.
- Toss the vegetables in a little oil, salt and pepper and spread them out.
- Add the salmon or chicken, season it, and roast until cooked through.
- Check with a food thermometer: USDA's guidance is fish to 145°F and chicken to 165°F.
Make it a habit
Cook an extra piece of chicken and it becomes tomorrow's lunch bowl.
